Attendance Rules
- Students will have to attend all theory and laboratory hours during working days from the first day of the academic year according to their time table.
- Attendance for all lectures / practical’s / tests / examinations / seminars is compulsory. A student who is not regular in attendance or fails to carry out his/her work to the satisfaction is liable to cancellation of his / her term.
- Minimum attendance of 75% of the theory lectures, tutorials practical separately, will be required, out of the total number lecturers, tutorials and practical conducted in the term for granting the terms. Only those students fulfilling the attendance criteria are eligible to appear in the external examination.
- It will not be obligatory for the college to give intimation regarding shortfall in attendance to anyone including the parents of the students. Decision of the Principal shall be final and conclusive.
- The prior permission from the Principal is to be taken for absence due to unavoidable circumstances. For sickness student/ parents/guardians should inform the authorities immediately and will have to produce medical certificate with an application.
Code of Conduct
- Should friendly towards each of your classmates.
- Students should not move around when classes are in progress.
- Students should maintain complete silence inside and outside the classrooms.
- Entering the room without the permission of the professor is inappropriate and prohibited.
- Writing or drawing inappropriate articles on walls, blackboard or furniture is a punishable offence.
- Damaging library books, tearing pages, marking them or writing anything on them is a serious crime.
- Any offence , indiscipline or disobedience to the orders on any professor, whether inside or outside the classroom is punishable . It is a crime.
- No outsider other than the guardian will be allowed to meet the student in the college campus.
- Damaging any college property is a punishable offence. Do not pay any money at the college without a receipt , and keep the receipt for each them.
- College is a sacred centre for the pursuit of knowledge. Any kind of noise or commotion is against its dignity and decency. Please do not disturb its peace and dignity in any way and do not allow it to be disturbed.
- The notice board is the main medium of communication between you and the college, hence it is in your interest to check it daily.
- In case of change in local postal address, the new address must be informed to the college after getting it certified from the local guardian.
- If you start any job or business during your studies , keep giving complete information about it to the college as far as possible.
- If you come to the college by vehicle, parking it anywhere other than the designated place is punishable.
- Take an interest in keeping the college campus clean and beautiful. Do not litter by throwing papers or other such materials anywhere. Do not stick posters or write anything on the walls.
- Damage is caused of the college property due to any undesirable activity done by you or someone you support , you will be held responsible for it. Which may also include from the college.
- Harassment is a serious offense , as determined by the Supreme Court of India in April 1999 , any student found guilty of it will be immediately expelled.
