About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Alok Vigyan Mahavidhyalaya is established of ensure quality enhancement in academic and administrative performance. The cell works continuously to develop a learner centralized environment and promote quality education in the Institution.
An Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a centralized, mandatory body in higher education institutions (such as colleges and universities) designed to monitor, maintain, and continuously enhance academic and administrative quality
Core Meaning & Purpose
Established in pursuance of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guidelines, the IQAC acts as a catalyst for institutional excellence. Its primary goal is to foster a “quality culture” by internalizing best practices, conducting regular performance evaluations, and ensuring continuous quality improvement in teaching, learning, and research
IQAC Objectives
The cell is responsible for a variety of tasks that elevate institutional standards:
- Quality Benchmarks: Defining and implementing parameters to measure academic and administrative performance.
- Feedback Mechanisms: Collecting, analyzing, and acting upon feedback from students, faculty, parents, and alumni to drive improvement.
- Documentation: Systematically recording institutional activities and programs for continuous quality improvement.
- Audits: Conducting periodic academic and administrative audits to evaluate institutional efficiency.
- Report Preparation: Creating and submitting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as required by accrediting bodies like NAAC
